Accessibility Statement
What we have done
To make our website accessible, we have engaged with accessibility specialists at Scope. They have carried out multiple audits of the website using the web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. The audits covered core journeys that users will take. And also, each template and feature has been tested for accessibility.
This has flagged accessibility issues on our site while in development. We have fixed as many issues as possible. There are some issues that we cannot fix. And some that we are working on.
The RTPI is committed to accessibility and continuously improving our accessibility.
We are aiming to achieve WCAG 2.2 AAA standard where possible.
Adapting your experience to your needs
We have made the site as usable as we can, but you might have a better experience if you change the settings on your computer to suit your individual needs.
For example you might change the site’s colours, increase the text size, or have the site spoken aloud.

Known problems with this site’s accessibility
We know that there are some accessibility problems with this site, and we are working to fix them as soon as we can.
We are currently working to fix:
· Colour contrast issues in the cookie banner
· Sign in accessibility
· Heading structures on pages
· Informative link and button text
· Table headings
· Making sure all abbreviations are spelt out in first use
· That alt text on images is informative where required
· Error messaging in the membership area
· That the focus indicator is always clearly visible
If any of these problems stop you from getting the information or service you need from our sites, please contact us and we will be happy to help you.
Things we cannot fix
We have some limitations and things we cannot fix. This is includes:
Content being zoomed to 200% in FireFox text only, where some content does not resize correctly. If you have difficulty accessing the content like this, content does zoom correctly in Chrome and Edge.
