We are exploring the potential of aligning land use and environmental planning, with immediate opportunities to integrate local nature recovery networks with local plans and biodiversity net gain policies, and for Integrated Water Management strategies at a catchment scale. This could help rationalise the multitude of repetitive and competing plans and strategies required in different disaggregated regulated sectors. We will be exploring this further and consulting with members in the coming months.
