Resubmitting the PES, PCS and PDP
Your assessors can ask you to resubmit either a supplementary statement or complete resubmission of any of these sections of the written submission. If you are required to resubmit just the PDP you will be referred to our PDP Support Phase. Your PDP must be current at the point of your resubmission and should not include any actions dated in the past.
PES
You might be asked for a complete resubmission for the PES if you did not demonstrate that you have the correct amount of planning experience and/or if it is not at the correct level. Please refer to the main guidance for the relevant route, for more information about the type and amount of planning experience that is required.
PCS
You will either be asked for a complete resubmission covering all competencies or for a supplementary statement covering the competencies you have not already successfully evidenced. For a supplementary statement, the assessors will indicate in the feedback form which competencies and which criteria (the parts that make up a competency) you were unsuccessful on.
For example, if you have been successful in criteria A & B of the competency but unsuccessful in C, you would still need to demonstrate criteria A & B as well as C as the competency must make sense overall. Criteria already marked successful will not be reassessed.
For a full resubmission of the PCS, you must ensure that all competencies and criteria are met. You should focus on the competencies that have previously been marked as unsuccessful. Competencies that have been previously marked as successful will not be reassessed but must be covered in the resubmission, as the whole resubmission must make sense overall.
PDP
You are assessed on three sections of the PDP: SWOT, Goals and Objectives and Action Plan. There should be a clear link between each of these sections, so if you were assessed to be unsuccessful on one or more section(s) you will be asked to resubmit the entire PDP. However, only the section(s) you were unsuccessful on in your previous submission will be reassessed.
Resubmitting the Corroborator Declaration Form
You only need to resubmit this if you introduce new experience or case studies in your resubmission. If you are expanding on experience or case studies mentioned in your previous submission - a new Corroborator Declaration Form is not required.
Resubmitting the Application Form / Personal Details and Payment Form
You do not need to resubmit these documents unless specifically requested by your assessors or if your personal information has changed since your initial submission (e.g. you have changed jobs).
Resubmitting the Sponsor Declaration Form
This does not need to be resubmitted.
Resubmitting the Reflective Journal (L-APC, A-APC and DA-APC only)
You can submit additional Reflective Journal entries if you wish, but this is not required. You would need to provide a new Corroborator Declaration Form to cover this.
Resubmitting the examples of professional work (EP-APC only)
You can submit further examples if you wish, but you would not be expected to submit more than 1-2 additional examples.
Resubmission fee
You will need to pay an Administration fee to cover the cost of having your resubmission assessed. Details of the Admin Fee and how to pay can be found here.
