Kent Young Planners' Network

Alex is an Associate Planner at DHA, prior to this Alex worked across planning, policy and strategic planning teams at Kent County Council. Alex works in the Environment team primarily dealing with Nationally Strategic infrastructure Projects, developments requiring Environmental Impact Assessment, energy schemes and other projects that are more environmentally sensitive. In addition to this, Alex has also worked with a number of clients from large developers to individuals across a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, medical, residential and agricultural across the Southeast and beyond. Out of the office, Alex is a keen guitarist, gig-goer and cyclist.

Elouise is an Associate Planner at LEP (Lee Evans Partnership), based in Canterbury, Kent; having worked across local authority, private practice and client side for a national housebuilder – which gives her an interesting perspective and experience for her clients and projects. Elouise was awarded the RTPI South East Young Planner of the Year for 2024, and was a finalist in the SECBE Future Leader Award 2024, she also sits on the Women in Planning Kent Committee. Passionate about the importance of public open space and access to nature, Elouise enjoys working with clients to find imaginative ways of enhancing the environment within developments and ensuring spaces are inclusive and accessible. Outside of work, you can usually find Elouise at the beach enjoying a chilly sea swim, walking her dog, or in the kitchen baking treats to share with colleagues.

Nick is an Apprentice Planner for Batcheller Monkhouse, based in Tunbridge Wells and is a new member of the Kent Young Planners Network. He holds a Batchelors Degree (MA(hons)) in History from the University of Warwick, where in his finial year he studied the history of planning which spurred his interest in the field. He is currently undertaking his Masters at London South Bank University, through the RTPI Chartered Town Planner Apprenticeship and is set to graduate in autumn 2021. Outside of work Nick continues to enjoy a keen interest in history and is avid swimmer and rugby fan.
