South East winners selected for national awards
Congratulations to the following South East Awards for Planning Excellence winners who have been chosen as finalists in the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence national awards:
- Excellence in Plan-making practise: AL21 land west of Windsor stakeholder masterplan entered by Wates Developments in partnership with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead
- Excellence in Planning for Communities (large schemes of 50 or more): Bayside, Worthing entered by ECE Planning Limited, Worthing Borough Council
- Excellence in Planning for Health and Wellbeing : Dinton Activity Centre entered by DHA Planning

The RTPI South East Awards for Planning Excellence 2023 showcase and celebrate the best plans, people and projects. Below are are the winners of the RTPI South East Awards for Planning Excellence 2023 announced on 16 June at Guildhall Winchester.

The competition for the overall winner was especially intense, but the panel felt that it was a delight to be able to recognise the exceptional work undertaken by the City Council especially in the innovative approaches taken through the establishment of the planning academy, customer relationship management, plan making and leadership.
