The City of York Housing Delivery Programme responds to local housing need within the context of the climate crisis. The aim is to create mixed and inclusive communities that promote well-being and healthy lifestyles. The programme is driven by the Council’s Housing Delivery Programme Design Manual which establishes the design brief for the project and reflects best practice, policy and guidance - both local and national.
All homes will be accessible and inclusive places, designed to build community cohesion and promote intergenerational living. -

The Wakefield City Centre Masterplan provides a strategic framework for the city centre and provides a guide to physical development and economic growth. The masterplan proposals enable a series of high-quality developments and complementary schemes that will contribute to the inclusive, sustainable, and cohesive vision for Wakefield city centre.
The proposals and projects highlighted include 15 minute neighbourhoods, expanding blue and green infrastructure, and exploring the potential for a district heating network. The aims of the masterplan aim to set the direction of travel for the city centre for the next 20 years.
