West Midlands winners selected for the national awards 
Congratulations to the following West Midlands Awards for Planning Excellence winners who have been chosen as finalists in the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence national awards:
- Allscott Meads, Telford & Wrekin Council, Excellence in Planning for Communities (large schemes of 50 homes or more), who is a finalist from the region
- Luston Wetland - Phosphate Credit Trading Scheme, Herefordshire Council, Excellence in Planning for the Natural Environment, who is a finalist from the region
- Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, Planning Authority of the Year, who is a finalist from the region
- Frances Keenan, Spitfire Homes, Young Planner of the Year, who is a finalist from the region

- Best Project – Luston Wetland and submitted by Phosphate Credit Trading Scheme - Herefordshire Council
- Young Planner of the Year – Frances Keenan
- Planning Authority of the Year – Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council
- Chair’s Award – Trentham Estate - Beaver Project and submitted by Turley
