West Midlands Chair's Award
West Midlands Chair - Maria Dunn - Each year the RTPI West Midlands Chair presents a special award during the annual awards ceremony which celebrates their theme. This year, our Chair’s chosen theme is diversity and inclusivity. With this in mind, the award will go to a person, organisation or project which seeks to broaden diversity and inclusivity within the planning profession or the built environment.
This award is not entered through our awards process but chosen locally by the regional chair and presented at the same time as the regional awards ceremony. Get in touch with Heidi Smith, RTPI West Midlands Regional Coordinator, to nominate an organisation.
The closing date for entries is 13 March 2025.

"I’m really pleased to have won and been recognised for the ambassador work I’m currently doing and hope to continue with.
My vision for the next year is to continue with my educational outreach via the Grace Foundation, growing that project in the Midlands while supporting RTPI (2024) President Lindsey Richard's BALANCE (Build a Legacy And New Community Equality) initiative to increase schools engagement nationwide."
