Each year the RTPI South West Chair presents their own special award* during the annual RTPI South West Awards for Planning Excellence celebration.
Originally launched in 2024, this annual award will celebrate the 'unsung heroes of planning'.
*Please note that this is a separate regional only award to the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence and this category will judged by the 2025 Regional Chair Dawn de Vries together with the South West Regional Management Board. Winners of this award do not go through the to the National Awards.

Do you know a planner based in the South West who consistently goes above and beyond? Someone whose dedication, innovation, and leadership deserve recognition?
This special award is dedicated to recognising planners who make a real difference, whether through:

If you work with an exceptional planner - whether it is your own team or another organisation - this is your chance to highlight their contribution!

How to nominate:
To nominate, all you need to do is tell us in no more than 300 words as why that Planner** should be recognised and email this to [email protected]
The deadline for nominations is 23.59 on 25 April 2025
**The nominee must be a member of the RTPI in any class.
