The North West RTPI are pleased to present the LPA Best Practice Document. The document is a compilation of outstanding practice from planners working in the public sector across the north west. The document contributes to one of the key aims of the LPA Engage Business Plan- which is to champion the public sector and the value of planning. It covers a range of cases from how technology can be used to streamline the validation process, to how Council’s coped with the changing demands throughout the Pandemic. These cases are a true reflection of the passion and resilience that our public sector shows and hopefully shines a light on the challenges the sector faces. It’s out pleasure to have put this document together and of course we’d like to thank our contributors who deserve praise for first of all demonstrating their excellence in practice, and second for being willing to share this with the wider industry.
