Event Description
There is broad consensus amongst scientists that the climate is changing as a consequence of human activity – and we can start to see some of the consequences for our world with each passing year. How then to do we plan for a changing environment – and also seek to reduce the carbon emissions that generate further damaging change?
This event explores how we can employ the planning system to better manage and adapt to the challenges of a changing environment – and how the ambition for Growth can be reconciled with the principles of carbon reduction & sustainable development.
