Stephen is a chartered Town Planner with almost 20 years’ of experience working within the planning industry, initially as a local authority planner, then as a planning consultant before working at a senior level within the housebuilding industry. Stephen is a former Chairman of the Royal Town Planning Institute North East and applies his strong commercial awareness to each and every project whether big or small. His specialisms include land acquisition, strategic land searching and promotion, planning applications, planning appeal, Public Inquiries, Local Plan Examination and development appraisals

Craig is currently a Principal Enforcement Officer at North Yorkshire Council, and was previously the NAPE Chair of England Representative for enforcement officers. He has previously held roles as an enforcement officer at Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and South Oxfordshire District Council and has been involved in enforcement since 2012 following graduating from University with a Master’s Degree in Urban Studies and Planning at the University of Sheffield. Craig has played an active role within NAPE by being an author of a number of sections of the new Enforcement Handbook, and editor of the Enforcement Beginners Guide all produced by the RTPI. Whilst being the NAPE Chair he was a key contributor to changes to the enforcement system which were introduced by the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill 2023.”
