Event Description

If you are thinking of embarking on your APC submission or currently working on it, then this event is a great opportunity to ensure you are prepped and ready for submission. 

Joined by an APC Assessor, this event will include an overview of the APC process (including the different types of chartered membership), the three parts of the written submission, assessment outcomes, levels of support the RTPI provides to APC candidates. Plus those all important top tips.

This event is also open to mentors. If you are currently supporting team member with their APC or would like a refresher on the process and expectations, then please do join this informative event.

Learning outcomes

  • To gain a good understanding of the L-APC Process
  • To learn how the application submissions are assessed
  • To establish what makes the following components of the submission successful:
    • PES - Practical Experience Statement
    • PCS - Professional Competence Statement
    • PDP - Professional Development Plan

Accessibility

  • Parking is available at the Princesshay 1 Car Park – EX1 1GA which is approximately a 2 minute walk from the venue.
  • The nearest train station is Exeter Central which is about a 10 minute walk.
  • The event will take place on the ground floor, which is fully accessible. Disabled access is at the back door.
