An assessment of NPF4 two years on from three perspectives – a legal perspective, a local authority perspective and a consultancy perspective. This will explore the successes, challenges and controversies that have emerged as NPF4 embeds itself into the planning system. The speakers will reflect upon local development planning, case law, appeals and experience from practice in their discussions and consider how the practice of planning in Scotland has to adapt to take onboard NPF4.
The legal perspective will be delivered by Ewan MacLeod, Partner at Shepherd and Wedderburn. The consultant’s perspective will be delivered by Stuart Salter MRTPI, Director at Geddes Consulting. The local authority perspective will be delivered by Kate Hopper MRTPI, Development Planning & Environment Manager at West Lothian Council and Matthew Watson MRTPI, Planning Officer at West Lothian Council.
The talks will be followed by a Q&A discussion and following that drinks and canapes. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
