Event Description
The Levelling Up and Regeneration Act (LURA) 2023 is changing how local plans are prepared and examined. This event will explore how the new plan making regime is emerging and what the key differences will be. This will be a highly valuable session for all those involved in the preparation of local plans and those seeking to engage with the new plan-making process during preparation and examination.

- What new Local Plans will include like under LURA and what they need to take into account.
- The preparation of Joint Spatial Development Strategies and what they will contain.
- How Local Plan Examinations will evolve under the LURA regime and how we can best prepare for these.
- What ‘Supplementary Plans’ are and what they need to consider.
