Event Description

This event will consider the likely effects of the current local government re-organisation such as more unitary authorities on the planning system, for example giving more emphasis to strategic planning, together discussing how the devolution of more power to local authorities could change local planning decisions.

Accessibility:

The venue is 10-15 minutes from Oxford city centre, with easy transport links including a bus stop right outside, providing direct access to the city. Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford is also easily accessible by car via the A34, A44, and M40. Oxford Railway Station is a 15-minute drive or 25 minutes by bus, and the closest airport is London Heathrow. 

There are 250 parking spaces, including 6 accessible bays. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved. The cost is £6 per night, with the following tariffs: 

  • Up to 1 hour: Free 
  • Up to 4 hours: £2.00 
  • Up to 12 hours: £4.00 
  • 13 to 24 hours: £6.00
