She has particular expertise in land assembly and CPO, environmental impact and habitats assessment, DCO applications, planning/highways agreements, enforcement and inquiry work, energy and sustainability regulation and contaminated land

Constanze has a varied public law, planning and environmental law practice. Constanze practices in all areas of town and country planning law, including the specialist areas of compulsory purchase and highways. Her clients include developers, local planning authorities and local action groups. She regularly appears in inquiries as an advocate and is instructed to both bring and defend statutory challenges in the High Court. She has a busy advisory practice and regularly assists with complex enforcement cases, submissions for local plan consultations and advice regarding prospects of success on appeal. Elana Kaymer practises across all areas of administrative and public law, with a particular focus on planning, highways, licensing and local government.
Her clients include local authorities and developers at all stages of the planning process. She has advised on and appeared in public inquiries, judicial review proceedings, appeals and enforcement actions including local authority prosecutions and injunctions involving the gypsy and traveller communities.
Elana successfully completed a specialist planning and public law pupillage at Kings under the supervision of John Hunter and Philip Robson. Prior to joining Chambers, Elana worked at LexisNexis where she tracked legal developments in areas including energy and environmental law and as a paralegal for a specialist immigration law chambers, with work often involving human rights matters.
