Politics in planning is a core issue impacting the profession, having 6 months of the new Labour Government, along with the recent publications of the new NPPF and the Devolution White Paper. Join this talk by Cavendish's Midlands Team to hear about the latest developments around politics and the interrelation with planning including the impact of the NPPF, as well as the importance of community/political engagement. This is event is kindly sponsored and hosted by CBRE and will be chaired by Charles Goode, University of Birmingham.

- Better understanding of how to generate integrated and well-substantiated responses to spatial planning challenges.

• The venue is 15 minute walk away from New Street Station and 10 minute walk from Snowhill Station
• There are various car parks located around the venue
• The venue is accessible by taxi but please do check for travel disruptions and road works on the day of the event as there are ongoing road works in Birmingham city centre
• The venue is fully accessible, with accessible facilities and access to a quiet room for all delegates to access if needed.
