Event Description

Organised by the South West Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, join us for a webinar discussion about the role of health in planning with particular focus on the opportunities of CiL and S106.

Learning outcomes

  • Overview of the national and local policy requirements to ensure health needs and priorities of the community are addressed by the planning system through developer contributions.
  • Learn how planning and health organisations can together get involved in the planning process and ensure the health needs of their communities are met.
  • Understand how planning and health professionals can promote health and reduce inequalities across the Local Authority’s local planning process.

What will be covered?

  • Understand How health providers to engage with this process and roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders involved
  • Understand the main implications and opportunities of both S106 and CiL for health involvement
