Event Description
Despite the challenges of climate change, societal inequalities, and failing public services, planning can still be a powerful force for good. At this year’s Nathaniel Lichfield Lecture Professor Davoudi dives into the concept of prefiguration and how it can be applied to planning to bring about change in the here and now. From envisioning utopian places to challenging the norm, this talk is all about taking action and not giving up the pursuit of a better tomorrow. It's not about building castles in the sky, but about challenging the norms and creating a truly 'better' world.
