Event Description

Join Related Argent’s Director of Planning, Alexandra Woolmore, and the RTPI Young Planners for an exploration of this impressive development. The event will begin at Related Argent’s Visitor Centre at 6:15 PM and will be followed by a walking tour of the King’s Cross development.

Over the past 20 years, the area of King’s Cross in London has undergone a remarkable transformation.

By the end of the 20th century, this part of the Capital had become an underused site, largely closed off to the public. Today, it is one of London’s most visited spots, renowned for its attractive public spaces, historic buildings, and unique architecture. The development was certified as carbon neutral in 2021, with ambitions to achieve net zero by 2035. The area boasts a distinct mix of uses, including the world-famous art college Central Saint Martins, global businesses such as Meta, Google, and AstraZeneca, as well as a residential offering that supports 40,000 people working, living, and studying in King’s Cross.

Don't miss this chance to see firsthand the innovative planning and development that have revitalized King’s Cross!
