More than 18 months post implementation of National Planning Framework 4 (NPF4), a sense of the differing approaches to interpreting national policies is beginning to emerge. This event, offering essential CPD for all planning professionals in the region, will provide an update on recent Court of Session judgements providing an interpretation of NPF4 and discussing potential implications for Scottish planning law. It is also a great opportunity to network with other professionals.
The presentation will include discussion of and commentary on:
- The Mossend Decision (Miller Homes v Scottish Ministers [2024] CSIH 11
- Wildcat Haven Case (Wildcat Haven Community Interest Company [2024] CSOH 10
- Tesco Case (Tesco Stores v Perth and Kinross Council [2024] CSOH 46
The impact of these decisions on development management decisions and development planning going forward will also be explored.
