Excellence in Planning for Health and Wellbeing 

Excellence in Planning for Health and Wellbeing is a category in the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence that recognises projects that have positively impacted health outcomes, promoted physical activity, addressed accessible challenges, or supported the wellbeing of residents.


The national finalists are:

  • Brainkind Neurological Centre, York submitted by JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle)
  • Brighton 3Ts - Louisa Martindale Building submitted by BDP and University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust
  • Buntingford First School submitted by Smith Jenkins Planning & Heritage
  • InterCity Place submitted by Plymouth City Council, University of Plymouth and Stride Treglown
  • Morpeth Leisure Centre submitted by DPP Planning
  • Murphy’s on Main Street Ederney Community Hub submitted by Keys and Monaghan architects 
  • Play Sufficiency Assessment Pilot submitted by Glasgow City Council
