The RTPI awards category for Excellence in Planning for Communities (large schemes of 50 or more) recognises remarkable projects of 50 homes or more, that
seamlessly integrate into their surroundings or stand as examples of new developments in their own rights.
The national finalists for this category are:

- Bradwell Springs submitted by Peak District National Park
- College Road, Croydon submitted by HTA Design LLP
- Cottam Hall submitted by Homes England, North West Planning & Enabling Team
