RTPI Scotland has responded to Scotland's Climate Change Adaptation Programme 2019 -2024. The response agreed with an outcome-based approach to adaptation in Scotland. However it also called for additional policies to be included in the outcomes. Substantial concerns were also raised that certain key topics were not addressed in the draft programme, such as sustainable procurement policies, infrastructure provision, the circular economy and sustainable urban drainage schemes. These should be a key part of any future approach.
