This week (1 - 7 June) is #nationalvolunteerweek and I want to to say a huge and very special thank you to everyone who volunteers their time, skills and knowledge to the Royal Town Planning Institute, supporting the organisation across a wide range of roles and activities and in the case of Planning Aid, directly delivering services to the public.
Volunteering is part of the DNA of the Royal Town Planning Institute and nearly 10% of our 25,000 members across the UK, Ireland and the world collectively contribute to our ongoing success. Over the years I have been privileged to meet many of our volunteers and have seen first hand their dedication and commitment to the Royal Town Planning Institute and the wider planning profession - you truly make a difference.
