If elected you would be expected to:

  • Be willing to participate in discussions and debate
  • Contribute to decision making
  • Provide verbal/written updates if allocated a designated task/role
  • Be able to attend the meetings as outlined in the role description, often during working hours
  • Act in the interests of the RTPI, irrespective of any commitments to other organisations or groups or any personal interests
  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest and seek advice from the Governance Manager if necessary
  • Adhere to relevant RTPI policies, procedures and behaviours (refer to Volunteer Handbook)
  • The RTPI Volunteering Charter outlines mutual expectations.
