If elected you would be expected to:
- Be willing to participate in discussions and debate
- Contribute to decision making
- Provide verbal/written updates if allocated a designated task/role
- Be able to attend the meetings as outlined in the role description, often during working hours
- Act in the interests of the RTPI, irrespective of any commitments to other organisations or groups or any personal interests
- Declare any potential conflicts of interest and seek advice from the Governance Manager if necessary
- Adhere to relevant RTPI policies, procedures and behaviours (refer to Volunteer Handbook)
- The RTPI Volunteering Charter outlines mutual expectations.
