Welcome to our Regional Chair for 2017
Wendy Hague is our Regional Chair for 2017. Her theme for 2017 is "Planning in the Spotlight" and, as part of her "mission statement" to fellow planners in the East of England she says: "The skills we possess as a profession are critical to delivering goals and reducing risk. As your Regional Chair, I would like to urge you not to under-estimate your importance".
Professor Janice Morphet, Visiting Professor at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London, will be leading discussions on "Housing Delivery" during our free Debate on 30 March 2017. What are your views? Book now! If you are unable to attend the Debate but would like to forward a view or comment on to Professor Morphet, please email Tina Palmer, the Regional Co-ordinator before 24 March.

Young Planners in the East of England
Our annual Regional APC Event is taking place in April 2017 in Chelmsford. Book early to avoid disappointment. Other events are in the pipeline. See the Young Planners page to keep up-to-date. Of course, there is also the Annual Young Planners Conference which this year is being held in Manchester on 3 and 4 November 2017.
We are very grateful to the following for their continuing support and sponsorship:
In some cases, these sponsors have helped by providing a free venue for one of our Regional events in exchange for place(s) at that event. This is a cost effective way of providing training for your planners. Contact Tina at the Regional Office to find out more.
