Help us build a stronger planning profession - by improving what we do, we can serve our members better and build a stronger planning profession.
The RTPI has launched an online survey to find out what more we can do to increase the value of your membership and strengthen the voice of professional planning. The findings from the survey will help us to continue our commitment to providing our members with the best possible services, benefits and support to assist you at every stage of your professional career.
The survey will take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.
For every completed survey, the RTPI will make a donation to the International Committee of the Red Cross, which supports families and communities affected by armed conflict or natural disasters.
The survey will be open until Wednesday 5 July.

Members for whom we hold an email address will be sent an email invitation with a unique link to the survey. Alternatively, if you do not receive your email or do not have an email address then simply follow the link either above or below this text. You will need to enter your membership number to complete the survey. Your membership number will be on your membership card, if you have mislaid your card please contact the Membership team on 020 7929 9462 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We listened to your feedback from our last full membership survey in 2013 and have:
- Influenced policy – for example our Value of Planning research, gaining us national press.
- Increased media coverage – in national publications and on social media.
- Provided new services and benefits – for example relaunched our magazine, The Planner.
- Made it easier to join – for example streamlined our routes to Chartered membership.
- A full list of achievements is available.
