Membership Assessment Advisory Panel (MAAP) – Young Planner representative
Are you interested in membership assessment, routes to Chartered membership and supporting candidates and assessors to achieve professional standards?
Are you a Young Planner and a Chartered Member? The RTPI's Membership Assessment Advisory Panel (MAAP) is looking for a new member to represent Young Planners.
As a member of MAAP, you will contribute to leading work on:
- All routes to Chartered, Associate and Legal Associate membership,
- The management of all Assessments of Professional Competence and
- Assessment of Professional Competence commendations.
You will also contribute to putting forward recommendations to the Membership and Ethics Committee on strategic changes to the membership assessment procedures, methods to ensure quality and consistency of membership assessments, and support for candidates and assessors.

MAAP will meet three times a year at the RTPI London office. This is a voluntary position and travel expenses will be reimbursed. The next meeting is on Wednesday 10 October 2018.
