RTPI Nathaniel Lichfield Lecture 2013

The growth agenda of cities

The event took place on Tuesday 12th November 2013 and was attended by 180 people. Sir Peter Hall chaired the lecture which saw the Rt Hon the Lord Heseltine CH give a thoroughly insightful speech on the growth agenda with respect to cities, and how pioneering city leaders can develop visions for growth.

Drawing on his wealth of knowledge Lord Heseltine generated a thought-provoking discussion on the development of HS2, arguing that there is no way to foresee the potential investment that would flow as a result of HS2 and that we should "take what we can get".

podcast from the lecture is available.

The lecture was once again generously supported by Dalia Lichfield and hosted by University College London.
