The object of the Mock Inquiry is to provide realistic training in the giving of evidence at a public inquiry. Although in a fictitious setting, a real planning case will be used. Prior to the inquiry, each witness will have to prepare their own evidence upon which they will be cross-examined by counsel. A senior barrister will act as the Inspector. It will provide an excellent insight into what it is like to be involved in an inquiry.
This is a must attend event, it is very useful, informative and fun! We will ask for 8 volunteers to take part in the Inquiry, but we will do this seperately once eveyone has booked on.
With thanks to Kings Chambers who are provided the case studies and running the Inquiry.
