Planning Bill briefing - Dumfries

A Dumfries and Galloway Chapter event

Tuesday, 06 March 2018 at 12:00PM - 2:00PM
The Usual Place, Academy St, Dumfries, DG1 1BZ
RTPI Scotland

Kate Houghton, Policy & Practice Officer at RTPI Scotland will brief us on the contents of the Planning Bill.  The Planning (Scotland) Bill was introduced to Parliament on 4 December 2017. The Bill is central to the reform of the planning system announced in 2015.  It sets a high level framework for future Parliamentary scrutiny and secondary legislation and guidance.  The reception of the Bill has been mixed, with both RTPI Scotland, PAS and RICS Scotland questioning if the measures are bold enough.

Refreshments will be available.

Please book by email at before Thursday 1 March if you want to attend.
