Join the Thames Valley Young Planners ecology series for 2017 and participate in a Phase 1 Habitat Survey.

MWH Senior Ecologist Gareth Lavery will lead the survey at Port Meadow (designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest) and Oxford Meadows (which is designated a Special Area of Conservation).

Gain understanding and appreciation of varying habitats, plant species and the wildlife typical to meadow areas.

Attendees will meet at the Victoria Pub at 6.30pm for a brief introduction to Habitat Surveying before entering the Meadows along Walton Well Road.

The survey will last approximately 1hr 30mins and will be limited to 15 people so please book your place as soon as possible to avoid dissappointment. Equally, if you find you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can offer the place on.

Please note the weather conditions on the day and wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
