Neighbourhood planning remains high on the planning and political agendas with more plans being approved and a Neighbourhood Planning Bill making its way through Parliament. It is a good time to take stock and see how well the process is working.
Have they now become fully integrated into the planning system? If so what issues and challenges are emerging? Do communities feel better engaged in the planning process? What do the key stakeholders in the planning process feel about neighbourhood plans? Has it improved the way we plan and what are the implications for governance more generally?
This morning seminar, followed by lunch, is designed to explore these and other questions. It will draw directly on the experience of those at the coalface of neighbourhood planning activity.
