This seminar, part of which will be in a workshop format, will evaluate the linkages of Planning, Transportation and Design in delivering high quality environments which provide access to all modes of transport and encourage healthy and active lifestyles. It will focus on emerging standards for walking and cycling infrastructure provision and the requirements of Local Highway Authorities in assessing and appraising residential layout to ensure it is suitable for adoption.
