There may be times when your employer is looking to restructure, review staff contracts, or consider redundancies. Alternatively your personal circumstances may change, you may have caring responsibilities, or are planning study part-time whilst employed. You might be an employer seeking independent employment advice. The RTPI's employment law helpline provides RTPI members with access to free advice.

Consultancy is another career option. We offer a wealth of information on many issues relating to consultacy, whether you are thinking of setting up your own practice or considering small amounts of freelance planning advice.
