Annual Review 2015

In this Annual Review, the first of its kind for the Institute, we share with you some of the highlights, activities and achievements of the past year, (2015).

The RTPI does a huge amount every year. We have 23,000 members in more than 80 countries and we try to meet their diverse needs. We publish advice, guidance, reports, and research; we respond to Government policies and reports; we devise policy; we run hundreds of events, including seminars and the Planning Convention, as well as CPD training and workshops; we promote planning as a career to students and schools, we attend national and international meetings and conferences; we hold awards ceremonies and competitions to recognise the best in planning; we promote RTPI work and the planning profession to the media; we publish our own excellent journal, Planning Theory & Practice, and The Planner magazine. The RTPI works tirelessly to raise the profile of planning across the UK and beyond. Just a small part of these activities will be highlighted in this report.
